Cocooned
AEDAS LA GALLERY
April 1 - 30, 2011
My show at AEDAS LA Gallery is an experiment investigating whether two contradictory principles - such as hot and cold - can coexist together in a singular place or object. I came down to Southern California from the cool North to build an igloo - a shelter that, if it doesn't melt, will serve as my protection from outside elements.

Cocooned - an installation at AEDAS LA Gallery

Installation view: Warm Igloo (milk cartons cast in plaster, yarn and wool), iPod Touch G5 with headphones and power cord
(porcelain), Milky Jugs (plaster, wool, watercolors), 2011
